Counter Logic Gaming Academy Update
One of the ten slot-owning teams in the American Continental League LCS has announced changes to its academic roster. This time, no one even left CLG, the players will only change between the main and academic teams.
This was reported by Counter Logic Gaming themselves on their official Twitter account, announcing this roster for the first week of the summer split.
With Niship " Dhokla " Doshi heading to the CLG main team for the summer split, Thomas " Jenkins " Tran, who has been playing top lane on the main roster for half a year, will take his place in the academy.
Another "newcomer" to the academy will be Fatih " Luger " Güven. Like Jenkins, he managed to play for half a year with the main roster of Counter Logic Gaming, but unlike him, he does not leave the main team, playing on two fronts at once. This decision was due to the fact that Canadian Brandon " Meech " Choi still has some delays in obtaining a visa, and therefore he will not be able to be on time.
Another forced replacement due to the visa situation will be Korean player Kim " RoseThorn " Tae-ho. He will temporarily take over and take on the role of Australian gamekeeper Shane " Kevy " Allen, who is also on a relocation delay.
Otherwise, the academy will remain the same, with Stephen " Triple " Li in the mid lane and Brindon " breezyyy " Keesey in the support role.
In any case, these changes and temporary role changes will be a great opportunity for academy players to try their hand at new and more experienced teammates.
The current roster of Counter Logic Gaming looks like this:
- Jenkins - top lane
- Kevy - forest
- RoseThorn - forest (replacement)
- Triple - mid lane
- Meech - bot lane
- Luger - bot lane (replacement)
- breezyyy - support
