Summit, Winsome and Isles leave Cloud9
North American esports organization Cloud9 has announced changes to its League of Legends roster, parting ways with Summit, Winsome and Isles. Recall that earlier there was information about the upcoming restructuring of the team before the start of LCS Summer 2022.
Today we part ways with Summit, Winsome and Isles. All three players become free agents. It was a wild split full of ups and downs and you were all with us. Thank you for spending time together and we wish you good luck!
Summit, Winsome and Isles joined Cloud9 last November. While the 23-year-old top runner played for the club's first team, finishing fourth in the LCS Spring 2022, Winsome and Isles had time to try their hand at youth level, playing for Cloud9 Academy.
At the same time, the Australian support was noted for impressive success along with the youth squad, winning the LCS Academy League Spring 2021, and also getting into the top three at LCS Proving Grounds Spring 2021 and LCS Academy League Summer 2021. In turn, Winsome was noted for reaching the finals within the LCS Academy League Spring 2022, after which he was transferred to the starting lineup of Cloud9.
According to rumors, the North American esports organization intends to return Jensen to the roster. The 27-year-old Dane left the team three and a half years ago, having spent all this time in the Team Liquid camp. In addition, Cloud9 intends to return Fudge to the top laner position, as evidenced by early rumors.
The organization is also considering redistributing the role of Zven, who is currently listed as part of the Cloud9 Academy. Finally, Sheiden should appear in the youth line-up, who will replace Malice. In any case, Cloud9 will give us even more information about the future of their squads, which will compete for the highest places in the next split.
Cloud9's current roster is as follows:
- Blaber.
- Fudge.
- Berserker.
- Svenskeren.
- Max Waldo, Veigar v2 (coaching staff).
