Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle is a former support player from one of the most famous, if not the most popular and media, League of Legendsteam in Europe G2 Esports. Just a couple of hours ago, we learned that he was leaving G2 and immediately joining EXCEL.

We learned about this initially from the Twitter of the Spanish-German esports organization G2 Esports. They posted a farewell post thanking their player for all the years, challenges and content they've made together and joked about his "controversial food choices".

A little later, only 12 minutes late, they released their post already and EXCEL called it no less controversial than Mikyx's taste preferences: "First day out of prison/Jailbreak".

The new director of eSports EXCEL, Tim Reichert, who recently took a long interview, explained by the fact that Mikyx - one of Europe's best players support.

“You are probably wondering why we called it a prison break? And the answer is pretty easy. Mikyx is a champion, a lot of awards, an MSI championship, and if the organization has a chance to get him on their roster, you should take the risk. We do not hope for the playoffs, we are already going there. And let's go even further. EXCEL is a good LEC command. We already have a very strong support, but Mikyx has something that we didn’t have before – the spirit of victory.”

Quite fair words, because for the previous three years, the player from Slovenia literally dominated the entire professional scene at the LEC splits, and moreover, he regularly took 2-4th place with the team at the Worlds.

Soon we will see this guy again at the LEC, but already as part of a different organization, in new colors for ourselves, under a new symbolism.
