Team BDS announced a strong LoL academy team
The Swiss multi-gaming esports organization best known for their team in Rainbow Six: Siege delighted their fans with the update of their League of Legends academic team for 2022.
The guys from BDS have announced a new roster on their twitter, adding a video cutscene of the players' best moments to the post.
I would like to point out a very interesting detail that BDS has recruited really strong players to their academic staff. While most of the League of Legends world does quite the opposite - it notices young talents and turns them into e-sportsmen.
But it is not for me to judge a successful organization in the field of eSports, because as they have already proven their competence not only in Rainbow Six, but also in the Rocket League. But they entered the harsh competitive world of LoL only a year ago and have already created a secondary roster. It will be interesting to see what comes of it.
I don’t think it would be interesting to analyze each player individually, but you can analyze and catch a general model of how the scouts worked. All players except Sheo have between 3 and 5 years in the pro scene in Europe. And everyone was seen at the European Masters, which is considered one of the top majors, at least in the European region of the League. And only Erdote was already in Team BDS, but in the first line-up.
The academy will be coached by Adrien 'GotoOne' Picard, a former French player with extensive experience. And three years of experience as a coach, and not only in my region.
This will be the Team BDS academic roster:
- Tobiasz 'Agresivoo' Ciba is a top laner.
- Théo 'Sheo' Borile is a forester.
- Francisco 'Xico' Jose Cruz Antunes - mid laner.
- Juš 'Crownshot' Marušič– ADK.
- Robert 'Erdote' Nowak is a support.
