Gen.G Challengers Approve Their 2022 Roster
Gen.G Esports, one of the top teams in the Korean league, today finally revealed who will make up their second Gen roster. Gen.G ChallengersLeague of Legends for next year.
The Korean esports organization shared the news on Twitter with the community.
The latest innovations are top laner Kim 'Zest' Dong-min and team coach Son 'Punch' Min-hyuk.
Apart from the new top laner, absolutely the entire challenge team consists of guys from the Gen.G. academy. And it is not surprising, because in the realities of today's eSports, having your own academy is not only prestigious, but also extremely expedient. Moreover, it is in Korea that there is a fairly large-scale tournament for the minor lineups of the top LCK teams - LCK Challengers.
It's worth noting that even Gen.G Challengers' new trainer, Punch, also has a lot to do with the organization. I am sure that some will still be able to remember him from his role as a forester in the main roster of Gen.G in 2018 - 2019.
But for the new roster of Gen.G Challengers, the new year and the fight in LCK Challengers will be their debut. It was for this event that they announced their full composition. Now it looks like this:
- Kim 'Zest' Dong-min is a top laner.
- Woo 'Winner' Joo-sung is a forester.
- Lim 'Quid' Hyeon-seung - mid laner.
- Baek 'Ophelia' Jin-seong - mid laner replacement.
- Kim 'Peyz' Su-hwan - ADK.
- Park 'Lospa' Joon-hyeong - support.
