Cloud9 became the champion of HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 1
The HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 1 has come to an end. At the championship, which took place on June 2, sixteen North American teams competed for a prize pool of $2,000, as well as ranking points. The winner of the tournament was the Cloud9 team, which in the grand final was stronger than OpTic Gaming with a score of 3:1.
During the championship, Cloud9 confidently outplayed The Hvnd (2:0), Spacestation Gaming (2:0), G2 Esports (2:1) and OpTic Gaming (2:1), thus making it to the grand final. Well, in the decisive meeting of HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 1, the team again outperformed OpTic Gaming (3:1), thanks to which they earned $1,500, 8,000 rating points and a slot at HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 2.
