Cloud9 returns to Halo with a new trio of players
North American esports organization Cloud9 has announced a return to the Halo discipline by signing a new trio of players. Now the club has to introduce the fourth player and head coach, with whom the team will start the fight in the new competitive season.
Cloud9's Halo legacy continues. Please welcome our team for the 2023 HCS season.
The first two recruits of the team were Nemassist and Triton, former players of Oxygen Esports. Together, the Americans spent the rest of last season, taking third place in the HCS 2021-22 North America Open Championship, as well as taking part in the Halo Championship Series 2022: Orlando Major (7-8th place) and Halo World Championship 2022 (5-6th place).
Together with them, Squallaye joined Cloud9. The young American player spent the last season with Gamers First, with which he won the HCS 2021-22 North America Open Series 5, HCS 2021-22 North America Open Series 6 and HCS 2021-22 North America Open Series 8, and also finished in the top three winners at HCS 2021-22 North America Open Series 7, HCS 2021-22 North America Open Championship, HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 2 and Halo Championship Series 2022: North America Super.
Recall that at the end of last year, the Cloud9 organization decided to say goodbye to its former line-up, which was considered one of the strongest on the scene. At the same time, the team quickly found a new home for itself by joining the Spacestation Gaming club.
Now Cloud9 will be preparing for the Halo Championship Series 2023: Kickoff Major, which will take place at the end of February in Charlotte.
