In the upcoming season of Halo Infinite, a new progression system called Career Rank will be introduced
In the upcoming Season 4 of Halo Infinite, starting on June 20, a new progression system called Career Rank will be introduced. This system will allow players to track their progress across all game modes. Career Rank will be similar to the progression systems in Halo: Reach and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, with a closer resemblance to the latter. Progressing through the ranks is as simple as playing the game. Every completed matchmaking game will contribute to your advancement. The Career Rank system will utilize performance-based progression based on your Personal Score in each match. The better you perform, the faster you will climb the ranks.
The progression image showcases that players will begin as Recruits and progress through six different Tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Onyx, culminating in the final rank of Hero. Each tier is further divided into military-style Ranks, which are then split into smaller increments known as Grades. Players' ranks will be visible during match intros, on their player profiles, and in the Post-Game Carnage Report.
It's worth noting that Career Rank will not impact matchmaking in any way, and it will not reset at the end of each season. Instead, it is designed to track your overall progress in Halo Infinite.
