Cloud9 became the champion of Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major
Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major has ended. The championship, which was held December 17-19 in North America, more than 250 teams competed for the right to become the owner of a part of the prize pool in the amount of $ 350,000. Team Cloud9 won the tournament, beating eUnited 4: 1 in the grand final.
The tournament for the future winner started from the Pool Play stage, as a result of which Cloud9 beat Spacestation Gaming (3: 0), XSET (3: 0) and Acend (3: 1), thereby getting a place in the upper bracket of the playoffs. Here the North American team confidently dealt with Team WaR (3: 0), Quadrant (3: 1), OpTic Gaming (3: 2) and eUnited (3: 1) to reach the grand final. In the decisive match, Cloud9 again coped with eUnited with a 4: 1 score without any problems, thereby becoming the winner of the first Major tournament in the Halo Infinite discipline.
