GTA 6 Prompted People to Request Leave in Droves for November 19—Stats Revealed

It’s officially GTA 6 month. Not long ago, players were waiting months for any news from the developers, tracking rumors and picking apart every little detail. Now only days remain until the release of the year’s biggest game, and November 19 is shaping up to be a celebration for many players.

Speaking of November 19, a new report from Money.com, citing BambooHR, claims more and more people are taking that day off work. The number of requests is up 17% compared to the usual figure. Earlier this year, some companies even announced they would be closed on November 19 because of GTA 6, which shows the scale of Rockstar’s upcoming game. The Output also reported that the release could cost the U.S. economy $1 billion, precisely because so many people will take time off, and thousands of players would be affected.
