Bend Studio Will Reveal Their New Game Next Year - First Details Revealed
Bend Studio, best known for Days Gone, is reportedly working on a new game. A recent report reveals that the game will be fully unveiled next year and also provides the first details.
According to MP1st, the studio's new game will be a third-person title with co-op gameplay. The website specifies that it could be either a new IP or a project based on an existing franchise—but adds that it is not a sequel to Days Gone. A full announcement and release are both scheduled for 2027.
Bend Studio’s next game is reportedly a third-person co-op title, with a reveal planned for 2027, according to MP1st.
- Not a Days Gone sequel.
- Not a live-service game.
- Could be an entirely new IP.
Interestingly, there were earlier rumors that Bend Studio’s next project would be a live-service game, but it seems they’ve abandoned that idea. The studio had previously canceled a live-service game called Mirror Bond, the first footage of which was leaked earlier this year.
It's nice to see that Bend Studio is still doing its thing. However, lots of players would like to see the studio work on a Days Gone sequel. This is one of those cases where critics gave the game low scores and gave it a lukewarm reception, but players loved it for its charismatic protagonist, the mechanics of navigating the map, the gripping and suspenseful plot, and the truly dangerous zombies.
