GTA 6 is just under three weeks away, but Rockstar Games still hasn’t revealed everything about their upcoming project. One of the open questions remains the cast. Speculation regularly picks up online, as it did just the other day, and this time the actor in the spotlight had to clarify that he has no connection to the game.

We’re talking about Rob Brinkmann. Fans recently found a video of him and became convinced he plays Jason in GTA 6, since his voice is so similar. However, on his Instagram, he denied the speculation, though he added he appreciates the compliments from players.

This seems to confirm once again that Dylan Rourke plays Jason in GTA 6, as has long been rumored. Users have noticed he has recently become more active on social media, and last month he and Manni L. Perez, the actress rumored to play Lucia, verified their Instagram accounts, which has fueled the speculation further.

Yesterday, Edge magazine also published an extensive interview with Rockstar Games that revealed lots of new details about GTA 6. According to Rob Nelson, head of development and co-studio head at Rockstar North, the game is essentially ready for release, and the studio spent a long time searching for the right actor to play Jason. On the unofficial side, Bank of America claims Rockstar plans to release a multiplayer mode for GTA 6 in the first half of 2027 and may tie it to the release of the PC version.
