Apex Legends Updates Map Pool for Split 2
Apex Legends has entered the second split of Season 30, Marked, and Respawn has updated the map pool for public and ranked matches.
The new rotation features World’s Edge, Olympus and Broken Moon. As a result, Storm Point and E-District have left the main rotation, while Broken Moon returns to the pool.
Which Maps Are Now Available?
The new Pubs and Ranked rotation consists of three maps:
- World’s Edge
- Olympus
- Broken Moon
World’s Edge remains in the rotation and has received a large number of fixes. Respawn made more than 150 changes across the map, addressing collision issues, problematic areas and various spots that could be used to hide or gain an unintended advantage.
Storm Point and E-District Leave the Rotation
Storm Point and E-District are no longer part of the current Pubs and Ranked rotation.
The two maps have not been removed from Apex Legends completely. They have simply been taken out of the active pool for the new split and will return in a future rotation.
Olympus and Broken Moon now take their places, giving players a different selection of maps for both public and ranked matches.
The new rotation went live on September 15 with the start of Split 2.
Mixtape Gets a Separate Rotation
Mixtape has its own map rotation for the second split.
Team Deathmatch will feature Fragment, Skull Town, Monument and Estates, while Control will rotate between Production Yard, Labs, Barometer and Caustic.
Gun Run will use Monument, Estates, Fragment and Skull Town.
With the start of Split 2, Apex Legends therefore has a refreshed map rotation across its main modes. Ranked and public matches will now be played on World’s Edge, Olympus and Broken Moon, while Storm Point and E-District are temporarily out of the pool.
