Fortnite Is Getting a Lucy Skin From "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners"

Epic Games and CD Projekt Red are preparing a new crossover collaboration: Lucy from the anime "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" is coming to Fortnite, along with Rebecca's mythic weapon.

News of the upcoming partnership broke after CD Projekt Red's official account posted an intriguing teaser on its social media. The message, written from the studio's perspective, suggested that Fortnite's security team should upgrade their defenses claiming their netrunner had breached it without any trouble and was ready to offer a consultation on how to patch things up.

Shortly after, the official Cyberpunk Edgerunners account posted a trailer that revealed what the Lucy skin will actually look like in-game.

Besides the Lucy outfit, the collaboration will bring the mythic weapon Rebecca's Guns — a dual-wield system combining an assault rifle and a submachine gun, modeled after Rebecca's signature weapon from the anime. Epic Games had already teased this weapon during the launch of the Fortnite Override event on August 20, but only now has it become clear what it's connected to.

According to dataminers, the weapon's stats are roughly as follows:

• Common–Epic rarity: 8 damage, fire rate of 12, 40-round magazine
• Legendary–Mythic rarity: 9 damage, fire rate of 12, 40-round magazine
• Reload speed: between 1.27 and 1.58 seconds depending on rarity

The leak also hints at a possible "Exotic" version of the weapon with extra features: SMG bullets that can bounce up to two times, and assault rifle rounds that explode on impact. That said, it's worth remembering this data comes from an unfinished build, so the final stats may change.

An official release date for the skin hasn't been announced yet, the teaser only mentions a vague "soon." However, according to a leaked Fortnite update schedule, the next major patch is set to drop on September 17, 2026. If the dataminers' information holds up, that's when Lucy will likely arrive in the game (or shortly after), presumably as part of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4.
