GTA 6’s Full Map Has Been Leaked After the First Gameplay

Although there is just over a week to go before the premiere of Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look on Netflix, new footage of GTA 6 has been surfaced ahead of schedule thanks to a fresh leak. A group of hackers called Cyberleek has published the first gameplay footage of the game, as well as some sections of the in-game map – but that wasn’t the end of their activities.

Cyberleek has published a screenshot which appears to offer a full view of the map in GTA 6 and some of the features on it. Specifically, you can see where Jason’s house is located – one of the protagonists – and, next to it, a mysterious icon of an alligator’s head. Additionally, there are various colored dots across almost the entire map – these appear to be points of interaction with the world, such as clothes shops, tattoo parlors and so on. It would appear that these leaks regarding GTA 6 are genuine in-game footage, as users have noticed that the developers have started cleaning up social media and deleting content. In the leaked gameplay video, we see Jason playing basketball near his house. Discussing the footage, players also noted similarities in the character’s movement to that in Red Dead Redemption 2 and pointed out that the gameplay was recorded at 60 FPS—even though this is likely an early version of the game.

The leak appears to be real, as Take-Two is reportedly taking down posts containing the footage.

Recent rumors also suggested the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will consist of three episodes, more like a Netflix miniseries, with a combined runtime of around an hour total.
