First Gameplay Footage of GTA 6 Has Been Leaked

Next week, Netflix will present new footage from GTA 6 in a presentation titled ‘Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look.’ Fans are not yet sure what to expect, but there is a strong feeling that Rockstar will finally reveal gameplay from the most anticipated game of 2026. In the meantime, a new leak may have revealed GTA 6 gameplay ahead of schedule.

A one-minute clip has appeared on the Streamable, purportedly showing the first gameplay footage of GTA 6, in which Jason, one of the main characters, is seen playing basketball and throwing a ball into a hoop near his house. The video is rapidly racking up views; it currently has over 38,000. In the video itself, we see Jason standing outside his house, some of Leonida’s beauties, a jet ski parked in the yard, as well as money icons in the top right-hand corner; high-quality reflections on the water can also be seen. At this stage, it’s hard to say for certain whether this video shows genuine GTA 6 gameplay or is yet another fake. If it is genuine, it is most likely a very early build of the game, as the trailers look far more extensive. Meanwhile, Cyberleek, the group that posted the footage, has teased on its official website that there are even more leaks to come. Meanwhile, they also shared GTA 6’s possible map pieces:

According to rumors, the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will consist of three episodes, more like a Netflix miniseries, with a combined runtime of around an hour total. It premieres on Netflix August 27 at 3 p.m. ET. You can also check out how and when to watch this major event.
