Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Launches This October and Feature New Story Expansion

Sucker Punch Productions has announced Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition, coming to PlayStation 5 owners on October 1, 2026. Alongside new trophies, weapons, and a survival mode, the game will also feature a new story expansion.

More details on Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition were shared in the latest PlayStation Blog post. Along with a thank-you to the community, Sucker Punch Senior Communications Manager Andrew Goldfarb confirmed Echoes of Sekigahara, a new story DLC for Ghost of Yotei, will feature a previously unexplored location once home to The Snake and his loyal followers and will introduce Nagato, a character tied to protagonist Atsu's past. The Complete Edition will also add a survival mode titled Most Wanted, a roguelike challenge where players fight through waves of enemies while unlocking bonuses, including additional playable characters.

This news is sure to delight franchise fans, especially since Sucker Punch announced back in May that it was ending support for Ghost of Yotei: Legends. Either way, players now have a reason to revisit one of PlayStation 5's best exclusives in just a few months, and it's also a chance for newcomers to discover the series for the first time.

Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition, along with the Echoes of Sekigahara DLC and Most Wanted survival mode, launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 1.
