IMDb Claims Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 Is Now In Production

While Insomniac Games is actively working on its next project, Marvel's Wolverine, set to release next month exclusively on PlayStation 5, it's believed the studio is also developing a third Marvel's Spider-Man game to conclude the Peter Parker and Miles Morales story. Nothing's been officially announced so far, but a new leak seems to have put any doubts about the game's existence to rest.

An official page for Marvel's Spider-Man 3 has appeared on IMDb, listing the game as officially in production. It confirms that Bryan Intihar and Ryan Smith, who worked on all three previous entries in the franchise, are serving as game directors, with Yuri Lowenthal is returning as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, as you can check out below:

Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 has shown up on IMDb Pro (both paid and free versions) and the IMDb database. The last official entry was in January 2026, confirming the title is in production and not pre production.

It is also worth noting that 2023 leak already suggested Insomniac Games was planning both Marvel's Spider-Man 3 and Marvel's Venom - a spin-off in the vein of the Miles Morales game, though neither had been officially confirmed at the time. Meanwhile, Yuri Lowenthal himself teased his Spider-Man's return back in spring, and reliable insider That REDACTED Guy previously claimed the studio is targeting 2027 for Marvel’s Venom - and 2028-2029 for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. He's also recently claimed Silk, another version of the hero, will show up in the third mainline game.

However, Insomniac Games still hasn't made any official statement on Marvel's Spider-Man 3, since its full focus right now is on Marvel's Wolverine – the game releasing September 15, exclusively on PlayStation 5.
