Frogwares Announced The Sinking City 2 Has Gone Gold and Will Release on August 18
The Sinking City 2, the sequel to the original game from Frogwares, released in 2019, is one of this month’s several projects. Thanks to a new announcement from the developers, it is now absolutely clear that the game will be released on schedule and will not be delayed.
On its social media, the Ukrainian studio announced that The Sinking City 2 has officially “gone gold”; this means that development of the game is fully complete, and it will be released as planned on August 18 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, as you can check out below:

Eldritch horrors are almost here.
Last month, Frogwares also confirmed the system requirements for the PC version of The Sinking City 2 and revealed pre-order bonuses and various editions of the game. Unlike the original 2019 title, which was an action-adventure, The Sinking City 2 is a full-fledged survival horror, primarily inspired by the Resident Evil series. The game focuses on surviving in semi-open locations, where players have to deal with a scarcity of ammunition and limited inventory space.
The Sinking City 2 is confirmed to release on August 18 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
