The Sinking City 2 Release Date and Gameplay Revealed by Frogwares

Frogwares, the Ukrainian gaming studio, just confirmed the release date of their upcoming video game—The Sinking City 2—as well as presented the first gameplay. The title was initially set to release in 2025 but was delayed due to the war situation in Ukraine, as the developer’s office is located in its capital, Kyiv.

The studio announced that The Sinking City 2 is changing its genre; while the original game was an action-adventure title, the sequel is a full survival-horror, inspired by Resident Evil and The Evil Within game series’. You can check out the latest gameplay trailer of The Sinking City 2 below:

Along with the gameplay trailer release, Frogwares announced that The Sinking City 2 will be launched this summer on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, although the exact release date is still unknown. The game also received a Steam page, where you can add it to your wishlist, and further details are being unveiled:

The Sinking City 2 is a third-person survival horror game set in an otherworldly Lovecraftian version of the 1920s United States.

The Sinking City, original title, came out in June 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One; later this year for Nintendo Switch, and in February 2021 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Last year, the studio also released a remastered version for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
