Here Is How GTA 6 Might Look in First-Person Mode
Although there are just over four months left until the release of GTA 6—arguably the most anticipated video game of 2026—Rockstar Games hasn't revealed many details about the upcoming blockbuster, including both the storyline and gameplay features. However, fans remain hopeful that this will change in the coming months, especially since the long-awaited official marketing campaign kicked off last month, accompanied by the opening of pre-orders, the reveal of pricing, and confirmation of the Standard and Ultimate editions.
Nevertheless, a lot of questions still remain unanswered. For instance, it's still unclear whether GTA 6 will include a first-person mode, as was introduced for the first time in the franchise's history with GTA 5, and also featured in Rockstar Games' previous title, Red Dead Redemption 2. So far, there's no official confirmation on whether the game will be entirely third-person or will also include a first-person mode. Meanwhile, one X social media user has provided a visual demonstration of what a first-person gameplay shot of GTA 6 might look like, as you can check out below:

Despite the lack of news from Rockstar Games since the game's announcement and the release of two trailers, fans had previously speculated that GTA 6 would feature a first-person mode from launch. This speculation was fueled by the detailed design of car interiors and the interiors of numerous buildings, suggesting that the developers want players to explore the game this way from the start. This is especially relevant considering that, from a technological standpoint, GTA 6 could be, if not a breakthrough, at least a significant step forward compared to the studio's previous projects.
Since the start of GTA 6 pre-orders on June 25, Rockstar Games has not made any announcements related to the game. However, the studio recently revealed details about the next GTA Online event— the Kortz Center Heist —which will be available on July 14 for all platforms.
