New GTA Online Update, The Kortz Center Heist, Will Release Next Week; New Details Shared by Rockstar Games
While fans continue to speculate about when Rockstar Games will release a new trailer for GTA 6, the developers are continuing to work on updates for GTA Online. In particular, the studio has confirmed that The Kortz Center Heist, the next major update, will launch next week, and has revealed some of its details.
In The Kortz Center Heist, players will need to team up with Mr. Faber and Ref to steal paintings from the Kortz Center. Every week, three new pieces of artwork will become available to steal—either solo or with up to three friends or random players. The first sale each week will bring the highest payout. To start the Kortz Center Heist, you'll need a mansion with an art studio expansion. In the art studio, an NPC can work on creating paintings that can be used in place of the stolen museum pieces, helping you avoid additional trouble. Besides the main targets, there are extra artworks you can steal to increase your income. The update will also introduce new vehicles and several bonuses. For instance, players who log into GTA Online before July 13 will receive $500K and the Benefactor Turreted Limo. Mansion owners get even more perks: the Annihilator Stealth helicopter, a $1M discount on the art studio expansion, a Kortz Center Sculpture, and access to a special valuable painting that you can either sell or keep in your mansion. Additionally, if you complete any heist by July 13—one day before the Kortz Center Heist launches—you'll receive $1M in in-game currency and a NOOSE outfit.

Attentive fans have also spotted at least two Easter eggs that Rockstar Games has hidden in one of the official artworks for The Kortz Center Heist. The first is found in the smoke rising above one of the pipes, where you can see a ghostly figure from GTA 5. The second Easter egg will appeal more to old-school fans, as one of the character models looks a lot like CJ from GTA: San Andreas, as you can see below:
