These Brawl Stars skins never made it into the game

Hi, guys! Today we’re going to show you a whole bunch of Brawl Stars skins that never made it into the game for various reasons. Artists always produce quite a lot of skin sketches, from which the developers choose the best ones. But this is all subjective, of course, so here at EGW we’d like to show you some of these ‘scrapped’ skins.

Cancelled skin sketches

We’ll start with the sketches for the ‘Harpy Melody’ skin. Four additional colour variants were presented, but for various reasons, they were rejected.

The Hypercharge skin for Mortis could have looked quite different too. It looks pretty cool, don’t you agree?

And here’s the ‘Lily Angel’ skin. It was also presented in several variants.

Here’s the ‘Kit Breaker’ skin that we ended up not using.

The artists created quite a few concept art pieces for the “Larry and Lori Angel” skin, but only three were chosen from all the options.

We’re seeing a similar situation with the Brawl Pass skin for Bo.

And ‘Star Admiral Grey’ could actually have looked like this:

Cancelled full skins

As well as concept art, the developers also scrapped full-fledged skin ideas, which we’re unlikely to ever see.

Take, for example, a whole bunch of skins for Jesse. Some of them were eventually released in the game, but most never saw the light of day.

Here’s a rather creative skin concept for Melody. The mermaid looks absolutely brilliant!

What about Farmer Mortis? There was a design like this, but unfortunately it wasn’t approved

A cool idea for the ‘Void Jean’ skin

The skins from the ‘Good Randoms’ collection could also have looked completely different. Here, for example, is the ‘Musician Buzz’ skin

And this is ‘Poko from the Pop Band’

Here’s the scrapped ‘Geisha Paper’ skin, created to celebrate the ‘Realm of the Katana’ season. Players never got to see it either.

Did you know that the tigers Edgar and Nita could also have appeared in Brawl Stars?

And what about a Jojo-style skin for Rosa? The developers scrapped it and replaced it with a skin for Macy.

These Halloween skins look really cool; they did make it into the game, but with a slightly different concept.
