Most Gamers Are Confident That GTA 6's Standard Edition Will Be Priced at $80

The week has finally arrived. In just a few days, Rockstar Games will announce the start of pre-orders for GTA 6, the most anticipated game of the year. Last week, the developers released a new trailer for their upcoming project, which has already amassed over 11 million views across YouTube and YouTube Shorts. Meanwhile, speculation about the game's price continues to grow.

Although a recent leak suggesting that the standard edition of GTA 6 would be priced at 90€, as indicated by one European retailer, turned out to be false, most fans still expect the price to be quite high. Insider Tom Henderson launched a poll on his X page to gauge what people think the price of GTA 6 will be. So far, over 20,000 users have participated. Less than 10% (9.7%) believe it will cost $100, while just over 13% (13.1%) expect it to be $90. However, the main contest is between $70 and $80. Currently, the $80 option holds a slight lead with 39.1% of the vote, while $70 is close behind at 38.1%.

This isn't the first study about GTA 6 that Henderson has been involved in. Last month, during an Insider Gaming livestream, he and other members of the site asked fans if they would be willing to pay $100 for the standard edition of the game, and over 80% of gamers responded positively.

Fans are also hopeful that with the upcoming opportunity to pre-order GTA 6, Rockstar Games will release a new trailer for the game. According to rumors, the trailer could be around 20 minutes long.
