Summer Game Fest has come to an end, and, as expected, the event was rich in happenings - in particular, announcements and showcases of new gameplay trailers. Did it become the biggest in history, as its host Geoff Keighley claimed? That is something everyone will decide for themselves. Either way, below you will find everything that was announced and shown at Summer Game Fest.

Resident Evil: Veronica

The show began with a major announcement—an announcement that had long been rumored. Capcom officially confirmed a remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica, which will be called Resident Evil: Veronica. They showed a spectacular trailer featuring Claire Redfield visiting Paris in search of her brother, Chris. The game's release is scheduled for 2027. Unfortunately, there is still no footage of a story DLC for Resident Evil Requiem, but it wasn’t Capcom's last announcement at the show.

New Cuphead Video Game and Mighty Cuphead Adventure

Studio MDHR made several announcements related to Cuphead universe. Firstly, the developers confirmed that they are working on a new installment of the series but are not yet ready to share the details. Last month, SEGA and Creative Assembly shared the first teaser for Alien Isolation 2, but the release of the official trailer did not take long. The second installment, judging by the first look, took all the best from the original, but the trailer also showed noticeable and more open land areas. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, but the release date has not yet been revealed.

Gen Atlas

Then at the show there was a presentation of a new project by Fumito Ueda - the creator of hits such as Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian.
