Paramount Games Studio Will Announce Their Debut AAA Video Game on Summer Game Fest

Less than a few hours remain until the Summer Game Fest - the main gaming show of the year. As always, players can expect a lot of announcements, the unveiling of new details about upcoming projects, and the showing of new gameplay videos, and it seems that a new report has just confirmed the announcement of a game from a well-known studio.

Variety reports that the company Paramount Skydance has established a division called Paramount Games Studio, which plans to present its upcoming game at the Summer Game Fest. It is specified that it will be a AAA title; however, no other details are available and have not leaked yet. The media outlet also added that the upcoming projects, such as Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra and Untitled Star Wars video game being developed by Skydance New Media, are still in development, and this may tease that one of them might also appear at the Summer Game Fest - or maybe even both. Moreover, there were recently rumors about the reveal of four Marvel projects this week.

Information that Paramount Games Studio will announce their debut game at Summer Game Fest may indicate that it will be a project based on a well-known franchise, as the company owns the rights to franchises such as Star Trek, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mission Impossible, Transformers, and others. Speaking of the latter, not long-ago information appeared that Transformers video game may be in development —apparently, it will be an online project, as the source claimed that pre-registration for its testing will begin in July.
