Not GTA 6: Game Informer’s New Cover Dedicated to The Blood of Dawnwalker

A recent announcement from Game Informer stirred up all GTA 6 fans in the hope that the game would adorn the cover of the new issue of the magazine. Apparently, fans' expectations were too high, since in reality a completely different game turned out to be in the spotlight.

Game Informer officially confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker, the latest title from Rebel Wolves, former The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developers and led by the game’s director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, got on the cover of a new magazine, as you can check out below:

“The Blood of Dawnwalker, the new game from the director of The Witcher 3, appears on the cover of the next issue of Game Informer! Subscribers can get the most comprehensive look at this exciting action/RPG, as our digital issue is now live!”

How is Grand Theft Auto VI related to this? Last week, it was leaked that some "big" reveal is planned using code words - that could have been encoded as Grand Theft Auto VI. Plus, gamers remembered that Game Informer previously used GTA 5 for covers in their magazine.

Anyway, there are still big chances we will find out official information about Grand Theft Auto VI this month, as Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, will hold the next financial earnings call, scheduled for May 21, and considering activity on PlayStation with an appeal to fans regarding a possible upgrade to PlayStation 5 in connection with the release of GTA 6. Moreover, Rockstar Games may have already added a new trailer for the game to their website, as evidenced by a recent database outage.

As for The Blood of Dawnwalker, in the game you play as Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker, forever treading the line between the world of day and the realm of night. Recently, Rebel Wolves held a Road to Launch event —where they revealed new gameplay details, a story trailer, system requirements, and more.
