New Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Leak Gives First Look at Edward Kenway

The long-awaited remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, titled Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, is rumored to be finally announced today. Although it hasn't happened yet, the fresh leak gives us a very first look at the updated version of the game’s main character, Edward Kenway.

In a post on Reddit a few minutes ago by user D-Tunez, it was revealed via Ubisoft Launcher the first art of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced featuring Edward Kenway. What’s curious is that the character is wearing a black and golden suit against the backdrop of a burning pirate flag. The leak also reveals a short synopsis for the game: "Set sail for the Caribbean. (Re)play this classic swashbuckling adventure on Day 1 with Ubisoft+ Premium". You can check out the official leaked art of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced below:

As confirmed by gaming insider Tom Henderson earlier today, the game will officially be revealed to the media later today, on April 16, but there is no mention of a full announcement by Ubisoft. Anyway, the fact that the game is already leaked on Ubisoft Launcher suggests that an official announcement could come at any moment.

The updated black and golden suit for Edward Kenway might be the confirmation of recent news that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will receive new content —including new stories and even characters. We will probably also receive new suits for the protagonist, as well as new upgrades for the main character's ship—but it’s only speculation for now.
