Remedy Announced Languages for Their Next Title, Control Resonant

The next game released by Remedy Entertainment, the developers of Max Payne and Alan Wake franchises, will be Control Resonant, the sequel to 2019’s original title. The game was announced at last year’s The Game Awards; although it doesn’t have a release date yet, the studio claimed it will be launched this year.

The latest update about Control Resonant focuses on game’s localization. On X social media, Remedy Entertainment revealed more information about the game’s available languages. As you can check out below, Control Resonant will receive English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish audio, interface, and subtitles, while such languages as Korean, Polish, russian, Latin American Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Ukrainian will receive interface and subtitles only.

Besides Control Resonant, Remedy is also working on Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake, announced back in 2022, which is likely to be released in 2027, according to insider TCMFGames. As for Control Resonant, the game follows Dylan, the brother of Jesse, the main character of the original video game, who is looking for his sister and battles unusual cosmic enemies and creations in Manhattan. It will also be Remedy’s biggest project so far.
