Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 Might Be Released at the Same Time as PlayStation 6
Sony is actively working on PlayStation 6 console. Although the company hasn’t revealed their plans about its launch, the next-generation device is rumored to launch in 2028, with plenty of video games set to release on PlayStation 5 that will also be released on a new console.
According to the new report, one of those titles that might be released simultaneously with PlayStation 6, or at approximately the same time, is Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, developed by Insomniac Games. The studio hasn’t announced the game yet, but it’s heavily rumored to be in development and will be the final entry in Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise. As we know, Insomniac Games next title, Marvel’s Wolverine, releases this year, on September 15. According to a recent report from TCMFGames, besides Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, the studio is also working on Marvel’s Venom, the spin-off to Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise, and also Marvel X-Men.
Speaking of PlayStation 6, the next-generation console will reportedly allow running the games in 4K and 120 FPS and is expected to be about 3-6x more powerful in terms of using ray tracing performance than PlayStation 5 Pro.
