Netflix Playground Launches — A New Kid-Friendly Gaming & Learning Hub
Netflix has introduced Netflix Playground, a new mobile experience designed specifically for younger audiences. The platform is currently in soft launch across the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, the Philippines, and New Zealand, with a global release set for April 28, 2026.
A Kid-Friendly Entertainment Hub
Netflix Playground acts as a central space combining games, shows, and creative activities for children aged 8 and under. It brings together popular franchises in a safe, interactive environment where kids can engage with familiar characters through simple, playful experiences.
The platform features a growing library of mini-games based on well-known titles, including:
- Peppa Pig
- Sesame Street
- Dr. Seuss’s Horton
- StoryBots
- The Sneetches
- Red Fish, Blue Fish
- Bad Dinosaurs
More content is expected to be added over time.
Designed for Safety and Accessibility
Activities range from caring for animals in Peppa Pig’s world to exploring colorful environments inspired by Dr. Seuss stories. The gameplay is intentionally simple, making it accessible and engaging for younger children.
One of the key advantages is that everything is included within a standard Netflix subscription, meaning:
- No ads
- No additional fees
- Offline access for on-the-go use
The platform also emphasizes strong parental controls, ensuring a safe and curated experience.
Global Rollout Coming Soon
With its mix of entertainment, creativity, and learning, Netflix Playground aims to provide a secure digital space tailored for kids. Following its initial rollout in select regions, the platform will become available worldwide later this month.
