Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Unveils Year 11 Roadmap Featuring Major Crossover and Gameplay Updates
Big announcement for tactical shooter fans:Ubisoft has officially revealed Operation Silent Hunt, the next season arriving March 3, alongside a packed Year 11 roadmap. The headline feature is a crossover with Metal Gear Solid, bringing one of gaming’s most iconic operatives into the battlefield.
This follows last year’s massive Siege X overhaul, which revitalized the decade-old title and boosted its player numbers significantly. Despite that success, late 2025 was rocky after two hacking incidents temporarily disrupted servers and caused unusual in-game issues. Since resolving those problems, developers have shifted focus toward new content, stability, and long-term support.
Solid Snake Joins the Fight
After weeks of teasing, Solid Snake is officially entering the operator roster as an attacker, voiced once again by David Hayter. His toolkit is designed to emphasize tactical awareness and adaptability.

- Soliton Radar MKIII: reveals nearby floor layouts and enemy presence with threat indicators
- Precision mode: shows enemy position icons and vision cones (limited charges + cooldown)

- New Black Ice weapon skins
- 1v1 Arcade mode
- Modernized versions of classic maps: Coastline, Oregon, Villa
- Retirement of 6v6 Dual Front mode after the season ends
