Gameplay trailer released for Yakuza: Like a Dragon
On August 24, Sega unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. It tells us about the "everyday" life of the heroes.
In the game you can play as a dancer, pop star, idol, fortuneteller, special forces and others. Each of the "classes" will be endowed with a special set of skills available only to him. So, for example, an idol can "charm" enemies with his songs, and a fortuneteller uses a crystal ball for various magic tricks.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be the reboot of the series. New characters will appear in it, and the protagonist will be Ichiban Kasuga, a former member of the Arakawa family of the Tojo clan.
The combat system in the game will be as similar as possible to classic turn-based strategies. Combinations of skills and competent positioning will play a key role in the fight.
In Japan, Yakuza: Like a Dragon was released on January 16, 2020. Western countries will see the project no earlier than November 13 this year.
