Resident Evil Requiem Will Have Another Playable Character, according to the New Leak
Resident Evil Requiem set to release next February will introduce a brand-new character Grace Ashcroft that will be the main protagonist. But it seems like she won’t be the only one who will be in a starring role.
We have already heard that mother of main character, Alyssa Ashcroft, who recently appeared in Resident Evil Outbreak, may receive a DLC after the release of Requiem. Moreover, thanks to the latest leak, it’s been confirmed once again that Leon Kennedy will be in the game, and his role will be important. Plus, the players seemingly take control of the iconic Resident Evil character. And this is not the full list.
Some Reddit users have noticed the description of Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition on GameStop, and it’s quite intriguing because we have a possible confirmation that Rosemary Winters, the daughter of Ethan and Mia from Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village, will appear in Resident Evil Requiem and will be a playable character:
"The Deluxe Edition includes the PC Steam Digital Code, a SteelBook Case, and the following digital content:
“The Sanctuary” Expansion Pass: Includes 2 new story scenarios and a major Mercenaries mode update.
“Morphic Visor” Cosmetic Filter: A unique cosmetic look for Rose’s visor.
“Shadow Walker” Costume Pack: 3 exclusive outfits for Rosemary Winters.
Digital Artbook & Official Soundtrack"
The last time fans have seen Rosemary in DLC for Resident Evil Village – Shadows of Rose, where she was struggling with her powers. What’s more important: DLC, where Rosemary is 16 years old, was set in 2037 while Resident Evil Requiem will take place approximately in the years of 2025-2026. It’s unknown how Rosemary will fit into this timeline; it could be some flashback scenes or maybe Rosemary’s story will take place after the events of Requiem.
Anyway, as we know Resident Evil Requiem will officially be presented on The Game Awards 2025 (December 11) and we probably find out some new information soon.
