The first major update for Arc Raiders, titled North Line, has officially arrived—bringing a new region, fresh enemy types, powerful equipment, and extensive gameplay improvements.
Following its long-awaited 1.0 launch on October 30, 2025, Arc Raiders quickly became both a critical and commercial triumph. With its standout gunplay, dynamic PvPvE design, and immersive world, it earned recognition as 2025’s top shooter. Yet launch was only the beginning of this evolving extraction experience.
Just two weeks later, the game’s first content-heavy expansion is live. Below is the complete breakdown of everything included.
📅 North Line Update Release Timing
The North Line update launched on Thursday, November 13, going live at:
- 1:30 AM PT
- 4:30 AM ET

🌄 New Region – Stella Montis
The headline addition is the Stella Montis region, crafted specifically for high-level, well-equipped players. This zone is brutally challenging and absolutely not intended for newcomers.
Accessing it requires community cooperation through the Breaking New Ground global event, which begins immediately as the update rolls out.
Breaking New Ground Event
Players earn a new currency called Merits, and once the community accumulates enough, the Stella Montis map unlocks for everyone.
Inside Stella Montis, players can expect:
- A brand-new ARC enemy type
- Fresh high-tier rewards
- Hidden blueprints and gameplay items

⚔️ New Enemy Types
The update introduces two powerful ARC enemies, designed to challenge even the most seasoned Raiders.
🟥 The Matriarch
A massive “hulking ARC” that makes the Queen look tame by comparison. This is a top-tier threat requiring precision and coordination.
🟦 The Shredder
Exclusive to Stella Montis, this ARC is built for intense close-quarters engagements—with its full behavior still left for players to discover firsthand.
New Weapons & Equipment
No major update is complete without new gear. At minimum, players can now acquire the Aphelion Rifle, though more unlockables may be tucked away inside Stella Montis.
