New Deathground Trailer Reveals Dangerous Dinosaurs and Intense Gameplay
Studio Jaw Drop Games has released a new gameplay trailer for their horror game Deathground, which blends elements of Dino Crisis and Alien Isolation. Alongside the trailer, the developers have confirmed the exact release date for the game in Steam Early Access — October 7.
In Deathground, players will face wild dinosaurs that react to movement and sound. The game can be played solo or in a team of up to four, completing dangerous missions in abandoned research facilities.
Procedurally generated elements, dynamic objectives, and adaptive enemy AI ensure that each playthrough is unique and unpredictable. Players have access to various survival tools, including motion detectors, tranquilizers, hacking devices, and medkits.
The game’s atmosphere is enhanced by highly detailed locations and a tense soundtrack composed by BAFTA-nominated composer David Housden, known for his work on Thomas was Alone, Volume, and Q.U.B.E. 2.
It’s worth noting that the project was successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2020, raising £118,000.
Deathground Early Access launches on Steam on October 7, 2025.
