Clash Royale Experiments with New Daily Battle Rewards

Clash Royale is experimenting with fresh ways to make daily Battle Rewards more engaging. Starting today, a portion of players will notice changes to the rewards they earn after matches. This experiment is temporary, with players divided evenly into five groups — each receiving a unique set of rewards.

The goal of the test is clear: to discover which reward system feels the most fun, fair, and rewarding before introducing any permanent updates. Some groups will see increased amounts of gold, while others get more Lucky Drops or even chests in place of the usual prizes.

Interestingly, Group 4 receives the same rewards as Group 1, but with a different interface. Instead of showing gold or crown icons, rewards are displayed with checkboxes once Lucky Drops are collected.

Breakdown of Rewards by Group

  • Group 1: 1 Rare Lucky Drop, 3 Common Lucky Drops, 4 Gold rewards
  • Group 2: 1 Rare Lucky Drop, 2 Common Lucky Drops, 3 Silver Chests, 6 Gold rewards
  • Group 3: 1 Rare Lucky Drop, 3 Common Lucky Drops, 10 Gold rewards
  • Group 4: Same as Group 1, but shown with checkboxes after Lucky Drops are claimed
  • Group 5: 1 Lightning Chest, 1 Golden Chest, 2 Silver Chests, 4 Gold rewards

What’s Next?

According to the Clash Royale team, this is only a test, and rewards will revert to normal once it’s over. However, depending on player feedback, some of these experimental systems could be implemented permanently.
