Asus Rog Ally will be sold for $700 with Game Pass bundle and will be released in June
The portable gaming console Asus Rog Ally will be sold for $700 (or €800 in Europe), with pre-orders already available. The official release of the device is scheduled for June 16th. Some Western retailers have already posted product pages.
This version is equipped with a Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, as well as a 512GB SSD. The amount of RAM is 16GB, and the battery can provide up to 8 hours of autonomy. The device has a 7-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and brightness of up to 500 nits. However, there is still no information on clock speeds.
The console will come with a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for 3 months. Asus likely entered into partnerships with Xbox Games Studio, Capcom, Jojo verse, LEvel Infinite, 505 Games, Team 17, Nacon, Techland, Squanch Games, and Fatshark to ensure the best gaming experience on Rog Ally.
According to rumors, a simplified version with an AMD Z1 processor will appear in the third quarter of this year. It will have 6 cores and 12 threads.
