A short teaser has been released on the official Mortal Kombat YouTube channel, which is likely an announcement for Mortal Kombat 12. Throughout the video, a clock face is shown, and at the end, the second hand skips over the number 12 and stops at one.
According to insider billbil-kun, the new fighting game will be called Mortal Kombat 1. Perhaps the creators intend to slightly rethink the series and reboot it.
The game is being developed for PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch. The official announcement is expected to be made soon.
