In a statement on his X profile, Fergusson revealed that he will now oversee the future of the BioShock franchise, including the long-awaited BioShock 4, the upcoming Netflix film adaptation, and the studio Cloud Chamber, which is handling development.

However, his arrival comes with expected restructuring within the development team, signaling a shift in leadership and priorities. This change appears to align with a recent Bloomberg report suggesting that BioShock 4 has faced delays, as 2K leadership was reportedly dissatisfied with the game’s current progress and quality.
