Sony unveils replaceable side panels for PlayStation 5

Sony has officially unveiled interchangeable side panels for the PlayStation 5. There will be five color options available: red, black, cyan, purple and pink. In addition, there will be three new DualSense colors available.

Switching panels on the consoles will be very easy, Sony says, and they are available in both floppy and floppy versions. They will be sold separately.

Black and red panels for PlayStation 5 will go on sale in select countries in January 2022. The rest of the colors will go on sale in the first half of next year in select countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Germany. However, Sony has announced its intention to expand its sales geography of panels and controllers over the next year.

In addition to interchangeable panels, Sony will release DualSense controllers in blue, pink and purple in January. Recall that the black and red DualSense went on sale in the summer of 2021.

The new DualSense color options will cost $ 75, while the replacement side panels for the PlayStation 5 will cost $ 55.
