Possible transfer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and the release of the game on PS 5

Ukrainian blogger OLDboi shared an inside story about the shift in the release date of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl.

In his YouTube video, the blogger vouches for the accuracy of the information and claims that GSC Game World is planning to transfer the game from spring to autumn 2022. According to OLDboi, representatives of the studio will inform about this before the beginning of spring or the first showing of the gameplay.

The blogger also notes that STALKER 2 will appear on the PlayStation 5 shortly after the release on PC and Xbox, namely in 3-7 months - that is, either at the end of 2022 or at the beginning of 2023.

In the meantime, people continue to pre-order STALKER 2 with the expectation that the game will become available in April this year (as stated by the developers a month ago). At the moment, GSC Game World is not commenting on the rumor, but given how it usually happens in the game industry, the game will probably be postponed (hello Cyberpunk 2077). According to OLDboi, representatives of the studio will inform about this before the beginning of spring or the first showing of the gameplay.

The official release date for STALKER 2 was announced during the trailer show in June 2021. The release is scheduled for April 28, 2022. The game will appear on PC and Xbox, and will also be available with a Game Pass subscription.
