Team BDS partners with Bodyguard.ai
Swiss esports organization Team BDS has announced a partnership with game moderation solution provider Bodyguard.ai. The agreement reportedly provides for an investment by the club in an automated moderation solution in an attempt to combat toxicity in esports.
Arno Schemen, Head of Games at Bodyguard.ai: "The gaming sector, and in particular the esports market, is booming. We know that millions of people around the world enjoy participating in and watching their favorite players and teams. We are pleased to announce our partnership with Team BDS We are thrilled to be able to work with such a formidable gaming enterprise to raise awareness of the need to tackle toxicity in the gaming arena and challenge the industry to make it better, safer and freer for everyone Gaming organizations must protect their community from destructive behavior and harassment. With an automatic moderation solution, conversations will remain meaningful and players will remain happy and protected, making the sport better for everyone."
Interestingly, Bodyguard.ai has been partnering with Team BDS since April, tracking Twitch, Instagram, and Twitter channels. However, the full partnership will give the club access to the full range of services from Bodyguard.ai. This is the first partnership with an esports organization for Bodyguard.ai.
Through its partnership with Bodyguard.ai, Team BDS is taking a strong stand against all forms of toxicity by becoming the very first esports team to invest in an automated moderation solution for the well-being of its players, fans and partners.
