Blacklist International teams up with bookmaker Rivalry
Philippine esports organization Blacklist International has announced the formation of a joint venture with betting company Rivalry. As part of the partnership agreement, the parties will develop the Dota 2 division of the club, while the roster will play under the Blacklist Rivalry tag.
Recall that the Blacklist International organization signed its first Dota 2 roster at the end of November. The team will play in the first division of the DPC in Southeast Asia, having bought a slot from the RSG club. The club will play in Southeast Asia, bringing together a team of former Fnatic, T1, BOOM Esports and Polaris Esports players.
Trike Gutierrez, CEO of Tier One Entertainment: "Having a team as titled as this does not guarantee us victory. Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done, but for us at Blacklist International, we are just happy that we can compete with the best in the world with Yes, it's a dream come true, but we have much bigger dreams and aspirations for this band."
The purpose of the joint venture is reportedly to combine Blacklist International's team management expertise and esports expertise with Rivalry's content production and creative resources. At the same time, the team also managed to join forces with the Predator brand. Through the team's partnership with Predator, Acer will provide gaming PCs for the Blacklist Rivalry bootcamp.
