paiN Gaming teams up with SPORTFIVE agency
Brazilian esports organization paiN Gaming has announced a partnership agreement with sports and esports marketing agency SPORTFIVE. As part of the deal, the company will represent the commercial interests of the club, gaining indirect control over paiN Gaming's esports assets.
Ryan Polun, Head of Esports & Gaming Americas at SPORTFIVE: "Our agency has taken a close look at gaming opportunities in Latin America and there is no doubt that paiN Gaming is at the forefront of passion in the market. We are proud to work closely together with paiN Gaming to capitalize on the buzz around gaming in Brazil and help the organization reach more global partners."
It is noted that the parties have already managed to test close cooperation. In particular, through the mediation of the agency, the organization entered into a partnership with DuelBits in the summer. The focus has now shifted to helping paiN Gaming enter the global partnership market.
From SPORTFIVE's point of view, the company is looking to expand into the Brazilian market as it sees the region's growing popularity in recent times. Recently, IEM Rio Major 2022 CS:GO took place in the country, which gathered a huge buzz among local fans.
Thomas Hamens, CEO of paiN Gaming: "We are delighted to be able to expand our partnership with SPORTFIVE at such an exciting time for gaming and esports. We are absolutely confident that this partnership will not only make a huge difference for paiN Gaming, but for the Brazilian ecosystem as a whole." ".
SPORTFIVE has significant experience in both esports and the traditional sports market. The agency is currently partnering with several teams including Gen.G Esports, NYXL and Misfits. In addition, SPORTFIVE previously helped Fnatic partner with ASOS. In turn, the Brazilian club also cooperates with TIM, BMW, Motorola, Subway and JBL.
