Fnatic and BMW release custom mouse for League of Legends roster
British esports organization Fnatic has teamed up with longtime sponsor BMW to release a dedicated mouse for their League of Legends roster. The product is called Fnatic x BMW Vision and is designed by leading designers in the field of peripherals.
Tailor-made for Fnatic's League of Legends roster, the collection is ergonomically designed and 3D printed to reflect the hand shape, curve and grip of each individual player. In addition, the product offers customization to enhance competitive performance by providing improved control, responsiveness and hand comfort.
Stefan Ponikva, BMW Vice President Brand Communications and Experience: "The Fnatic x BMW Vision mouse development project is a very good example of how we define our role in esports. Our know-how should benefit society and further develop the industry. "In professional esports, player performance is key. The 3D printing techniques we've tested at BMW and our experience with recycled materials are being applied to the sport in innovative ways. Together with Fnatic, we're really helping to improve the performance of professional players."
Each Fnatic x BMW Vision mouse comes in two parts. The skin is unique to each player and is created in two separate design and production steps. They can also be customized to meet changing needs by reusing the same materials for reprinting.
Hylissang, Fnatic League of Legends roster player: "Being able to use a mouse designed by BMW and Fnatic is amazing. My mouse is a fundamental part of my setup and I see it as an extension of my hand. I need it to be responsive, precise and comfortable to support my playstyle and prevent fatigue. The Fnatic x BMW Vision mouse is unlike anything I've seen before. A mouse that only fits your hand is unreal."
Earlier this year, Fnatic and BMW teamed up to launch the BMW x Fnatic Esports Performance Facility in Berlin. In April 2019, the two companies worked together to launch the BMW United in Rivalry initiative, which includes organizations such as FunPlus Phoenix, G2 Esports and T1.
