SAP partners with Valve to support The International 2022

German software and technology company SAP has announced a partnership with developer Valve to support The International 2022, which is currently taking place in Singapore. As a result, SAP is becoming the official cloud analytics partner of the Dota 2 Championship and will work with Valve to automate and improve the data that is used to improve the quality of broadcasts.

The parties will reportedly focus on pre-match and post-match match analytics as part of The International 2022. These include identifying the best hero for each player, accounting for percentage metrics such as win and loss data, and tracking tournament metrics, including hero selection and average match duration.
