NAVI, Fnatic, Cloud9 and other famous clubs team up with Guild of Guardians
Guild of Guardians (GOG), a mobile team-based RPG published by Immutable Games Studio and developed by Stepico Games, has announced partnerships with eight esports organizations. These included Cloud9, Fnatic, NAVI, Ninjas in Pajamas, NRG, SK Gaming, T1 and Team Liquid.
The above organizations will reportedly be presenting their brands as fully-fledged playable characters that can be sold as digital collectibles on Immutable X.
Derek Lau, Vice President and Director of Guild of Guardians: "This is an incredible opportunity to team up with some of the most established clubs in the professional esports space."
These partnerships are expected to not only open Guild of Guardians and web3 to millions of esports enthusiasts, but also allow fans to support and represent their favorite teams in the game in new and meaningful ways through digital assets.
Pietro Fringvelli, Chairman of the Executive Board of the World Esports Association: "We strongly believe that the integration of the esports brand into games is the future, bringing closer interaction between fans and teams."
By partnering with major organizations, their fans will be able to support their pets in a new way. Fans will be able to create, own and trade their digital assets, as well as compete with others for rewards.
How the Guild of Guardians esports ecosystem will work:
- IP Integration
- Competitions in ladders
- Introduction of new content and modes
Even though Guild of Guardian is an unreleased game, this is not the first time Guild of Guardian has made headlines in the esports scene. Last year, North American esports organization NRG announced a similar collaboration with mobile RPG.
Guild of Guardians is an upcoming fantasy mobile blockchain RPG where players can play, own and trade characters to compete with each other. The alpha version of the game will be released in a little later in 2022, but has already collected over 250,000 pre-registrations.
