FaZe Clan announces partnership with The Sandbox

North American esports organization FaZe Clan has announced a partnership with The Sandbox, a decentralized metaverse and subsidiary of Animoca Brands. As part of the deal, FaZe Clan will enter the metaverse by developing a virtual piece of land called FaZe World.

It is reported that the parties will hold events and other activations in FaZe World, as well as work together to create new sources of income.

The partnership is based on the development of FaZe Clan's 12x12 land parcel called FaZe World, a virtual land that embraces the club's lifestyle and culture. The two companies will co-create experiences for the FaZe Clan community at The Sandbox by creating digital infrastructure, virtual events, games, and digital products.

Lee Trink, FaZe Clan CEO: "FaZe Clan's leadership position at the pinnacle of gaming and youth culture provides an ideal opportunity to build bridges and lead the gaming community as a whole into the metaverse. Through FaZe World and our partnership with The Sandbox, our digitally accustomed fans, can immerse themselves in FaZe Clan in a new way."

This partnership will open the doors to the gamified world of FaZe, which will allow users to interact with the club and its talents.

The lands in the metaverse surrounding FaZe World will be available for individual purchases, giving FaZe Clan fans a unique opportunity to become neighbors to one of the world's largest gaming and media organizations. The Sandbox will also be running a sale to be announced at a later date.

Sébastien Borge, co-founder and CEO of The Sandbox: "FaZe Clan has established itself through the strength of the gaming and esports communities as a leading gaming, esports, entertainment and cultural brand. We are thrilled to partner with bringing FaZe World to The Sandbox as we prepare to launch many exciting activations."

FaZe Clan is one of the world's largest gaming and lifestyle organizations, bringing together the industry's top content creators and esports teams. The club currently collaborates with companies and influencers such as Warner Music Group, Ubisoft, The Rabbids, Tony Hawk, Gucci Vault, The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, among others.
