Mitr0 leaves Team Liquid and leaves the Fortnite pro scene
The European esports organization Team Liquid has announced the departure of Mitr0 from its Fortnite roster. In turn, the 20-year-old Dutch esportsman announced his retirement from the professional scene.
Today we are announcing that Mitr0 is leaving the organization, but he will forever remain king.
Mitr0 joined Team Liquid at the start of 2020. In two and a half years, the 20-year-old Dutch esportsman became the winner of the Daily Duos Cup: Chapter 2 Season 2: Europe, Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 2 - Week 3: Europe and Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 4 - Grand Finals: Europe, and also made it to the top three in the Fortnite Champion Series Invitational - Week 1: Europe, Champion's Cash Cup: Chapter 2 Season 4 - Week 1: Europe and Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 4 - Week 2: Europe.
However, this season Mitr0 has remained in the shadow of the competitive scene, only occasionally pampering its fans with pro-level performances. As a result, the 20-year-old player took part in the Duos Cash Cup: Chapter 3 Season 2 - Week 7: Europe, Gamers8 2022 - Zero Build and Gamers8 2022, but never made it to the top 30.
